Re: Kermorgant Or Howard ?
It is a bit difficult to compare stats for the two because Yann has barely played as a striker. Pearson keeps using him in more of an attacking midfield roale instead (usually because he's had too many strikers on the bench). All of Howard's appearances have been as a striker.

Good word DD. Dead right, Yann wins pretty much everything in the air and it almost always goes somewhere useful.

I was struggling to think of a word, and was pretty sure I had made that one up

OK you've got me, he was good for luton and had one good season for the sheep. Apart from that though, pile of wanky shit.
Very poor scoring record, heavily restricts our style of play when selected, and to be honest, is pretty poor in the air for his size which is supposed to be the corner stone of his game! Yes he may actualy get his block on the ball but very rarely finds another city shirt.
That's not to mention the complete lack of pace, the turning circle of a P&O ferry and all the needless fouls he gives away and i could go on but i really need to get this order done at work before 5!
In conclusion, i feel he is not good enough for us and we should look to offload at the earliest opportunity. He's got to be on 10k+ coming from the sheep when they were in the prem and i cannot see how we can justify paying someone that much just to keep the bench warm.

Nice constructive criticism there H, I see where I have been evaluating incorrectly now.
Or seeing as there is no full stop at the end of the post, do I take it that you have not finished your post as yet?

Re: Kermorgant Or Howard ?
Howard was ****ing excellent for us last season. Without him we'd still be in division 1.
He's struggled this year, and maybe age is catching up with him, but if he's on a pretty big contract he certainly earned the majority of it simply for his contribution in last years promotion push.
Better?

Re: Kermorgant Or Howard ?
I think age is catching up with him. He's nearly 34, and yes, he was excellent last season, but that was in a division with an inferior standard of football than the Championship. The defences in this division are obviously of a higher standard than League One, and I think he's simply no longer capable of making a proper impact.

Agree with that, I was more responding to him being a "pile of wanky shit" for the bulk of his career.
I don't think he can help us much these days, although I'm willing to bet he has one or two more important goals up his sleeve over the next couple of months.

Re: Kermorgant Or Howard ?
I can't be arsed to read this thread, however if someone can let me know how good the aforementioned players are on Championship Manager, I should be able to make a judgement pretty quick sharp like. Wizz, flash.
